PAY ATTENTION TO THIS.....I GET THE SAME THING!!

This has been bought up before and I know there are some mods out there but it still needs more work.

Remember though that in every store on the web, many people cancel during checkout process and most procedures are the same lenght unless they use one-click purchase - which if you use, you must pay rights to Amazon Inc - or they have a lot of information on one page.

Perhaps it could be shortned to this format:

Login / Register

Payment method:-

# Gift Cert

# Credit Card

- Number

- Expiry Date / CVV2

Confirmation

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I suggest you look at game.uk.com's checkout procedure, more specifically the method with out registering.
Perhaps too much information on one page or the correct amount.
But I will reitterate that a large percentage will cancel, stop, forget, close or do something else which cancels checkout procedure.
But then again......
X-Cart 4.0.8
aka
the version where we patch a bunch of files to support add-on modules but don't get many useful patches along the way.
BTW, taxes are still buggered. Multi product orders in excess of $200 are not calculating taxes properly.
I have had 4.0.7 live for a month with no issues. We have over $10,000 of orders with no issues that were not user error.
www.naturescapes.net/store
Keep in mind our site is heavily modded (although it does not appear that way on the surface) and some "bugs" were fixed by us.
All the coding work was done by Carrie at BCSE who I highly recommend. www.bcsengineering.com, while I did the colors and buttons etc. (UI)
We will be upgrading to 4.0.8 with a way to back out if there are any problems.
IMO X-cart rocks and I am very happy (although it was a long road and a a lot of work to get it running right).
