Authorize.net Multiple Captures for One Authorization

If a customer has a back order, I need to be able to charge that as a second transaction separately once it ships. Does anyone know how to make a second capture from the original authorization?

Example:
original order authorized amount $100
partial order ships, captures $80
back order ships, captures $20
