I'm on high speed cable and it seems to load fine on my end. Also I see some nice touches, very clean and impressive look and feel.... Good Job!

If you are on shared hosting with webfusion, would recommend moving to vps to dedicated. Webfusions vps is not all that good.

I recommend heart internet for vps

Actually I am on a dedicated server with Webfusion ...

Part of the reason why someone browsing in the US experiences a slow site is because of the server location being UK.

Herein is a problem ... Google servers are in the US, so they will always see the site as slow. (I assume so ...)

But this should not really be an excuse ... regardless of site and server location ... the loading speeds should be excellent for everyone.

Work in progress ...

Site looks very clean - great job!

Just a couple of minor things I noticed:-

a) Blinds Category - I saw the help guide for blinds and the nice photo (but couldn't find the products) - seemed a little strange to have a guide for something you don't sell... but perhaps you will add those products later (apologies if I missed the obvious somehow)...

b) About Us (Company Introduction) page is missing - personally I always like to read this page before I order from a site which is new to me (as it gives me a level of confidence over just the site design... if the "about us" page is not up to my expectations or missing, then I would immediately start to do a check on domain ownership and then I prefer that the ownership shows a "company name" verse an "individual" as the domain owner, as an individual as the owner signals to me that the site is more an "affiliate" site verse a direct link to the manufacturer (i.e. product problems or other problems might be harder to fix).

I hope comments help...

Cheers, Asiaplay

Site looks great mate good job. Can I ask where or who developed the search feature for various different sizes on your site? http://www.curtainsandcurtains.com/eyelet-curtains/ here on the left for instance.

I would really like our customers to be able to search for our products by size but wouldn't know where to start on x-cart to do this.

BTW i'm in the UK with the worst BB connection I have ever used and it loaded quite speedily for me.

Looks like the mod was developed by Mercury Minds. Might be this one: http://www.mercuryminds.com/product/smasher-smart-search-engine-for-xcart.html
