I saw a few solutions for X-cart 4 but I was wondering if there was anything available for X-cart 5.2.

Currently looking to offer an offline payment method for members in the "Wholeseller" membership group (Net-30) where they can place their order and mail in a check before shipping, but I do not want this option visible to my retail members who will be using paypal and paying retail prices. I would also like wholesellers to not see the paypal option to save the 2.9% paypal takes on orders.

Unfortunately, such setup can not be created using the out-of-the-box X-Cart 5.2.
You will need to have this custom coded.
