I need to do the following:

- User clicks on Main Category C -> Sub-category B
- Page displayed is not a product catalog, but a form, similar to the contact us page
- User fills out the form, presses submit
- I get the details in my inbox

Anyone know how to implement this?

Try adding the HTML version of the form in your details, but I dont quit understand why you would want this , unless I have misunderstood.

My site offers custom printing on merchandise (shirts, etc.) and logo design. I need a form that will collect information from the customer pertaining to the type of logo they need and the style they are looking for.

Oh, now I get it. In that case you would have to add extra fields for customer input and extra fields in the database, you need to hack it in other words.

Look into the personalization forum, there you can find users that can do it for you with a reasonable fee.

I can code it. I just need a jump-start. I've been ripping apart files and databases left and right, but with 1300 total files, it's very time-consuming. Anyone have any ideas for this?

Gosh, you even know how many files we got here, thanx for the stats (if it is right).

On the other hand, since you can do it, let us know about it on this page, it might become handy some day.

I certainly will, as soon as it has been coded and tested. BTW, my last check showed 1332 total files in my X-Cart folder, with custom files excluded from the count. Just in case you're interested

Wow, thats a lot of pages, but you are probably including the installed version which duplicates some files like the ones in the skin1-skin1_original paths.

Also, considering the scheme, color, dingabats and other folders that are not really necesary for a basic, default installation, you would probably count as 50% over that total, or less, that are really necesary.
