Default Are there any Files storing area?

Hi,

Can someone please tell me where is the File repository in x cart 5 version. Are there any substitute Media Manager or File Manager Module? I cannot see it in Admin panel. Thanks in advance.

Hi!

Could you please explain a bit what you are trying to achieve?

If you want to attach files to products then you should use modules Product Attachments and E-goods. In this case, you will be able to attach files to products on the product details page in admin area.

What kind of files do you want to upload and how you are going to use it after uploading?

Sorry, if I ask too many questions, but I need to understand what you are trying to achieve and then I will be able to suggest a solution.

Sorry, I know this is an old thread.

I'm also missing the "File Manager" in X-Cart 5.

How can my staff upload images, pdf files etc to a folder on the server ?

I don't want them to use an FTP client.

Thank you,
Rene

You can upload custom images on the "Look & Feel" -> "Images" page in the backend.

PDF files can be uploaded to product pages via this module:
