I am considering using the "QuantumGateway" module. What information should I gather from my employer before starting the install of the module? Will I need my own SSL for this?

You should get "Login" and "MD5 hash value" values to set up the Quantum Gateway module in X-Cart.

Also, "Use of Restriction key" must be disabled in your Quantum Gateway merchant center account (under Processing Settings section).
