I have stripped the AUTH box out of www.shopnaturally.com.au which has created a problem.

In store, when we do phone orders for people, when we're done, there's no way for us to log out for that user. Since the Logout link in the AUTH box and in the checkout is done with Javascript, I wasn't sure how to create a Logout link to just put on the page somewhere.

Do I just steal code from the AUTH box?

you can insert

{include file="customer/authbox.tpl"}

where ever you would like to show the login log out

I know how to put this in a template easily enough, but I don't want it on a template. I'd like to drop it in to a static page if that's done easily enough.

Dropping the code in to a static page didn't work. Thoughts?

You have to have "Parse Smarty tags in the content of embedded pages" turned on. You can see the checkbox when you go to static pages in admin or settings
