Default microdata in x-cart 5

I can't find a module to add microdata for product attributes for x-cart 5.
I want to try length width and depth to see if Google will show better search results and rich snippets. It may be more than Google can handle.

But my question is can I have raw HTML in the product description or should I add this to the Meta data field. I need to build it using Excel and then import it.

Will raw HTML get stripped during the import or display of the product?

cflsystems,
I saw that. It did not seem to let me list Length, Width and Height.

What is "Length, Width and Height"? There is no module that will just guess custom attributes and the way you what to have them listed. Unless it is a custom module specifically coded for your situation.

schema.org has lots of data points that can be done via microdata. Dimensions are just a few of them. X-Cart let's me put in the dimensions and filter by them. It only makes sense to me to connect the two.
But I suspect that I am ahead of the game in that Google does not offer parametric search that I can see.

A module could be made that would allow me to flag what attributes I would like added to my microdata.

Schema.org has so many attributes that I don't think it is possible for one universal module to handle all and for all types of sites.

I think you can use anything supported by Schema.org but Google pays attention to items listed here - https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/products#single-product-page

I could be wrong though

Reading that page they just refer to schema.org and imply that they read anything that schema.org supports. But some of the stuff is clearly not important. So I would say your right in that they are only currently paying attention to the items directly on that list.

I have bigger fish to fry.

Alexander, I believe you can purchase and install the "Site Structured Data" module in your X-Cart store.

By the way, the "Site Structured Data" module uses the newest and simplest JSON-LD markup format to add the necessary microdata to X-Cart pages (for example, for product page, it adds microdata including product name, description, image, price, etc).
