Default Products Layout
Currently products are displayed in 1 colum of 4 lines... I need to change that so that it's 1 row of 4 columns.

Which version we talking about here, you have two in your signature? For the 4.x branch, just change the number of columns in General Settings/Appearance options.

That's not the display i'm wanting to change... I want 1 product to be displayed across 1 line. Currently in 3.x and 4.x each product uses 4 lines.

No idea what you mean....are you referring to the cart? Not sure where that image you reference appears?
