I am developing an XCart store for a client who already uses the MyAffiliate system and need to integrate it into the "thank-you" page set of templates someplace. At this stage in my XCart learning curve, I am unsure of where to place the code and what code is required to pull the needed variable data from the cart or return data (or directly from the database) following an approved sale.
The requirements are rather simple and easy to implement using PHP on other order pages I have set up (we are using the iTransact gateway). All that is needed is an image reference with the proper data pulled from the order like this:
&c=<?PHP print($an_order_reference_like_the order_number_or_last_name) ?>)
The only caveat is that the data sent through the img src tag must be after processing (so payment has really be accepted) and that the net product total be passed vs. the order's grand total.
If anyone has already worked though this with XCart's or can point me in the right direction it would be most helpful!
