The SAQ asks questions that have nothing to do with your website, and that is what I meant by other areas of the business.. I have seen questions such as "Do you take credit cards over the phone?" and "do you write cc numbers on a piece of paper?" "Do you shred the paper?".. Etc. As you can see, these questions are not necessarily related to online credit card processing, but need to be answered.

PCI Compliance has to do with how your company handles Card Holder data in general, not just the online aspect of it. I hope that helps.

As you can see in this thread there are so many questions and not a straight answer to any of them...

All this PCI-DSS situation is very vague sometimes.
E.g. see a recent clarification on "what is a minor PA-DSS change" at http://blog.halock.com/blog/security-sense/what-is-a-pa-dss-minor-change.

Before this clarification every QSA understood requirements for "when to re-validate an application" differently.

So it is better to ask your bank, merchant account provider or QSA to be safe.

Is anyone else working on this?? I think we could create an X-Cart module for this pretty quickly... Especially since there would be minor differences between it and what we just finished creating.

I'm pretty sure X-cart is putting this into some of their later versions. We almost have a solution done for earlier versions of X-cart. Email us if you need it.

We are starting with 4.1.x and will take requests for other versions. We're going to try to release it as a mod if possible.
