MOD REQUEST: Automatic payment to vendors less admin commission
When a customer shops on the site, they may be adding products from several providers. When the customer checks out, I want the cart to accept their payment and for it to go to the respective vendors. The payment sent to the vendor should automatically be calculated to be the commission rate that I establish. For example, if I want to earn a 3% fee for the provider's items, then the provider's commission rate would be set to 97%. If the customer bought $100 worth of product from one provider, then the amount of payment actually transferred to the provider would be $97, and $3 would be sent to my paypal account.
There should be some kind of report or order history or something that would reflect that this has happened. I've talked to some other shopping cart companies, and they say that this is a new development at PayPal that can be utilized. Perhaps X-cart is already working on adding this?
