Quoting and Order Creation

I'm looking for a mod, or possibly a third party piece of software that would allow us to create quotes for customers, email them, and if the customer approves the quote, turn it into an order.

I would prefer a mod on the Admin side versus a piece of software so that we can use it from any PC.

Thanks Paul, had a quick look at it, but it's designed for customers to make quotes. I'm looking for something our sales staff would use to make up quotes internally to send to customers.

We are more B2B, and do many quotes in our accounting system right now. But I want to move to have quotes/orders all inputted into Xcart so the products/pricing only has to be maintained in one spot. Right now we have to update both our accounting program and Xcart with price changes.

Actually it has an admin interface for the admin's to create quotes as well. You can optionally not install much of the customer side to disable those portions if you do not want customers creating quotes.

Carrie, is there any way to get you system to create a quotes form like the one I have on my site now? I just need a form where my customers can go and fill out my requested information and submit their image via the form. I just want a quoting system that is integrated into x-cart that way every quote will be entered in the database as well. Look at my quote page and let me know what you think. Hi Shareen,

Ours is meant more for product quoting. It may be easier to take your form and store it into the database and create a way to view the information on the back end. If you want to drop us an email we can see if we can get a demo or a test site you can try it on. And if you don't think it will work for what you're needing we could let you know how easy/hard it would be to do something custom for you.

I can't believe that no has created a mod that does this already to allow service providers the ablility to send estimates/quotes to customers via a form from within x-cart. Can you please PM me with price to custom make a form for me like the one I have online already? Thank you in advance for your help and time.

If you could drop us an email with the requirements to support we can get this in our quote queue and can help out.

We can't track quotes easily in the X-cart private message system as I'm always running over quota given that we've been around for 9 years.
