Default Looking for Newsletter Add-On

I just found out that my new server has a max of 400 email per hour limit which is causing issue with my newsletter list.

Does anyone know of a program or addon for X-Cart that will allow me to stage them and send a few hundred every hour or so?

I'd actually suggest a third party system like Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Icontact, etc. Not only do they handle all of the sending for you, but you get reports on who read it, what email addresses are bogus, etc. Really not a good idea to send mail from your own server anymore due to blacklisting.

Moving to Third Party Add-Ons

HI,
Yes I had that problem as well I strongly recomend using Firetank software "Newsletter sender and Newslist Control Add on" - I have been using this add on for a few years and I am blown away with the excellent service I have received from them.

The current module as it stands does not limit how many newsletter are send per hour. So when my hosting company presented me with this problem I wrote to Firetank support desk and with in 24hours they emailed me a modification that allowed the mail program to send just 500 emails an hour (my mailing list is close to 4000) - I mail out every 2 weeks and I have never had a problem with the program. The modification was FREE.

Yesterday I emailed them to say that I needed an unsubscribe link on every newsletter as my hosting company thought my emails where spam. Within 24 hours I received an email detailing how to do this (as the feature is part of the original add on)

So looking for a Newsletter add-on I cannot strongly recommend FIRETANK enough

As they have never charged me for all the help they have given me I feel the only way I can pay them back is a huge shout out how great they are.
