I have kind of a wishlist item that combines a few different third-party mods. I'd like to be able to send an email to a customer a select number of days after their purchase (autoresponder mod), but I also want to include a coupon to come back to the store (On Sale mod), and a list of products they might be interested in (Upsell mod). Anybody done anything similar?

Yes, have a look at our Follow-up Autoresponder for X-Cart

It does exactly what you need, basically has been developed for exactly same purpose you mentioned.

As to list of products - we use concept of "datasources", which can contain "suggested", "similar", "new from date of previous order" and few other lists of products that you may use in your emails.

You can develop your own datasources (or we can do for you) that may match your exact situation, however using datasources will be just enough.

It can also send series of emails with some predefined period for advanced follow-up algorythms
