hi

i am looking for a mod that displays recommend in the cart

but i don't want to add a step or page to my checkout system

i would like to display x products in cart.php based on the carts content

Possible but not recommended at all. Once customer gets to cart/checkout you want them to proceed and purchase not to be distracted with other non-cart contents. There is a mod by websitecm for added-to-cart upsell products

i am sorry i disagree i don't want to add any steps to the customer seeing there cart during the add of a product

if the customer is in the cart and they see the recommended and yer i our use that

they have made the choice it was not forced onto them


we have noticed so big business and sites changing to this way as i think the customers like to be asked but not forced to look

its like upsell on product page its there but not forced but on the add to cart function it is forced

Your choice, I was just saying that anything non-checkout related in the checkout process may distract customers and lead to lower conversions. Every business is different - this may work on some.
I don;t know of any mods but it can be custom coded
