WARNING AGAINST KOSMOS plugin company

After many months of my website being broken due to Kosmos basically refusing to install the plugin - which i paid for - and then demanding that i continually pay them a monthly fee - the latest they did was this:

I asked them why they were charging me a monthly fee for '500 items ebay' - something which i never asked for or even heard about.

They responded by cancelling my installation request completely even though it has NEVER been installed and has NEVER worked from the day i paid for it. Nice eh?

Kosmos add monthly invoices to your account and then demand you pay them even though you never asked for them!

Is this the mod you are referring to?

that's a brand new page that you've just put up that says a monthly fee on it.

It looks NOTHING like the page that I used to 'buy' the plugin.

bottom line - Kosmos are tricksters - out to scam you out of as much money as they can.

I didn't put it up. I am interested in buying the mod. Looks like it is now resold via the x-cart site.

incredible. After selling me a plugin under a phoney description - without telling me it involved a monthly fee - and after they completely failed to install the plugin correctly - after i had to suffer a broken website for about 2 months while I waited for Kosmos to change the domain name on one of my other plugins. I decided to cancel my order for the ebay plugin - that they NEVER installed and NEVER worked.... guess what..?

Kosmos are STILL sending me invoices for monthly fees!!!!!!!

Un f**kin believable.

Thumbs down Re: Kosmos - eBay Order Integration

We recently mistakenly paid Kosmos for their mod, but within 2 hours, before they even touched the ticket, requested refund. They didn't install anything, didn't perform any work, yet they didn't make a complete refund, as one would expect. They kept $28 and refuse to return them, despite the fact that their terms of service promise complete refund if the software is not received or is returned.

Hello, please read the terms regarding the module when purchasing. It's pretty obvious on X-cart's site that there's a monthly fee or subscription.

http://www.x-cart.com/extensions/modules/ebay-integration.html

The eBay module is an Enterprise level software application and if you've got tens' of thousands of products, then you'll probably also need a dedicated server to support your connections to eBay. This is just common sense with integrating data between two disparate systems.

You're more than welcome to try the Free download without any support. Just pay close attention to the requirements. This is a complicated integration with a large number of components that need to be configured.

There's a lot involved with supporting this module and it's not something that should be left to a novice user.
