The welcome text is displayed in the customer/main/welcome.tpl file, try in there

Hello Shan
You had really good loking work on your site, it seems that you really know x-cart inside out. That was about the best x-carts I have seen.

The thing is that I want it billingual, swedish and english, if I put something in the welcome template it is always going to be there even if I switch to an other language. So I tried to put it in the language file, it takes html but I dont know what to do with the picture, because it does show a broken link to a picture but not the picture it self.

When you do your work with like the floral shop do you cut and paste the code from the .tpl files in to the body of a html file in dreamweaver and then form the page as you like and put the smarty code in different cells in a table?

I am new to this and are trying to figure out some kind of a working method.

Best regards
Kimmo

yeh I mostly do it that way for big changes.

Remember to refer to pics like this

and not

http://www.yoursite.com/xcartdir/skin1/images/your_pic.gif

Are you saying that the image will be bilingual too ? is it an image of text ?
