X-Cart not a product anymore?
Hi,
I noticed on the X-Cart website that you can't purchase X-Cart business anymore. We run X-Cart on our own server and also pay a yearly maintenance for updates. But if the business model now is that you can't purchase X-Cart at all, I feel like we're an extinct species, and we need to look for another shopping cart solution. I'd love to understand what's happening. Thanks, Per

XC moved to SaaS some time ago. I believe the process started when SL bought XC and completed few months ago.
The only way you can start an XC based store now is to contact them, sign a contract and agree to pay $200 (or maybe it was $250) per month subscription fee.

Thanks. I only noticed that they were trying to push me to VPS hosting, but even that seems to be gone. Seems like this is the time to begin the transition out.
