CDSEO: 2-Links; One Product = SpAm?
I recently installed CDSEO and it seems to doing what it's supposed to. Example:
Old address: www.mywebsite.com/product.php?productid=16169 New address: www.mywebsite.com/product/my-great-product.html However... I checked some links on Google and see those links still lead to the old address', and the old address' are still active. I thought CDSEO was supposed to remap my links to the new easy-to-read address and eliminate the old address so as to avoid link-SPAM. Am I missing something?

From Jon -- Hello, It will take time for google to sort our your old links and your new links, however in the meantime it is extremely important that you make the two changes in our support desk referenced in step 7 of the CDSEO installation: Redirect php links to new CDSEO urls: https://www.websitecm.com/support/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticl eid=30 Implement a robots.txt file: https://www.websitecm.com/support/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticl eid=52 With these changes in place search engines will only index your new CDSEO urls and your old php links will do search engine friendly redirects to your new urls.
