Default Problems logging into X-payments

I'm having trouble logging into my x-payments backend.

I'm keying in my user id and password correctly, but the system won't let me in - Error message I get is that the credentials supplied are wrong

So I clicked on the password reminder link and when I got the email from the reminder function and clicked on the provided link, the error message I now get is that the pin provided is wrong.

How can I reset the password so that I can login?

You should reset the password via the "forgot password" tool. Then you'll receive the email with the link, which allows to reset the password.

As regards to the PIN-codes, they are not regenerated via that tool. If you do not know the current PIN-code, you should generate a new list of PIN-codes via shell: http://help.x-cart.com/index.php?title=X-Payments:User_manual#Generating_PIN_codes_for_othe r_users

Joss you are not accounting for that many XC users do not have SSH access and some hosts (or hosting accounts) do not even allow SSH access. So they have no way of running this unless they ask the host to do it for them which forfeits the very reason of having it that way isn't it?
