Is there any reason that the speed booster cache version of my product pages would be slightly different than the regular version? What I mean is that the bottom of "related products" area is covered by the footer in the cached version but not the regular. Wouldn't it be reading the css file the same way for both options?

Hi,

No it should be the same. Drop us an email to support so we can take a deeper look into it. Maybe your X-cart templates need cleaned and then it run again.

I am really enjoying toying around with this new module. Not quite to the hole punching part yet, however I am having one small issue. I can't seem to get any of the sql queries to work for importing existing x cart clean url data. Is there something I am missing?

Hi Michael,

Glad to hear you're having fun with it. I think it's a pretty cool mod and can't wait until it's back-ported to our X-cart version so I can use it on our site.

Do you have any SQL error messages or data on what doesn't happen?

When I copy/paste the sql queries into phpMyAdmin, and click to execute the command, it doesn't return anything. No error, no confirmation (like what usually happens when executing an sql query). It basically seems to just refresh the page in phpMyAdmin. I could be doing something incorrectly, but I assumed copy/pasting the code into phpMyAdmin would do the trick. I don't mean to clog this post with a technical support issue, so if you would like, I can submit a support ticket.

Not a problem. If this suggestion doesn't help, then feel free to submit a ticket as that would probably be faster incase I get tied up and aren't on the forums.

Try to do this in your X-cart admin patch/upgrade area in the SQL section.

On version 1.0.1

Installation Issue:
Had to manually create this folder --> /public_html/dev_455/modules/BCSE_Optimization/admin/AdminPanel/templates/cache/

Caching Issues:
If folder is password protected --> ERROR -- [status: 401]
If Store Closed --> ERROR -- [status: 503]

Conflict with X-Cart Mobile --> Mobile device does not go to mobile template

Automatic Updates not working <-- Maybe due to CDSEO Pro? Just Guessing...

Update a product's cache after updating the product in the admin:

BCSE Instructions:

In include/product_modify.php, add:

Hi,

1.0.1 is the latest version. Do you mind to email us your questions so I can get it to the right programmer? We've had a bit of trouble with our auto zipper to include all the empty folders so we need to know if that's still happening.

The password protection is new, also include what operating system you are using. Sometimes Mac's have troubles with our zips (that are created on a Linux machine).

Thanks for letting us know the current version number is 1.0.1 and I'll open a ticket.

FYI - The "password" issue was not about the zip file. If you look at the bold print it was a "Caching Issue". You cannot do caching in a test store where the folder on the server is password protected or when the store is closed.

Does Speed Booster "Call Home" during the caching?

Caching Issues:

I see on the password. I'll see if that's a feature we can add to allow it when the shop is closed. Did you include it in your ticket?

No the speed booster doesn't 'call home' unless there's a license violation. That is built into the code for that check.
