cdseo optimisation questions
Gidday All,
I have a toys and games website, and have installed cdseo. When creating a url what is the best way to go about it. For example my product LEGO Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer www.toysetc.com.au/hobbies-toys-games/lego/star-wars/imperial-star-destroyer-6211.html 1) Do I get any benefit from having the hobbies-toys-games in every product page url. Would this be a better way to write the urls? Note i have also removed the subfolders. www.toysetc.com.au/p/lego-star-wars-imperial-star-destroyer-6211.html subsequent product urls would then be www.toysetc.com.au/p/lego-star-wars-y-wing-fighter-7608.html www.toysetc.com.au/p/lego-star-wars-imperial-landing-craft-7659.html Regards Colin

Re: cdseo optimisation questions
www.toysetc.com.au/p/lego-star-wars-imperial-star-destroyer-6211.html
is far superior to www.toysetc.com.au/hobbies-toys-games/lego/star-wars/imperial-star-destroyer-6211.html The latter sounds very deep and would take ages to get indexed and recached. I think the shorter URL is good and will be effective. Change the /p/ to /toys/ I would also stick the product code at the end instead of the 6211 if possible. Thats what a lot of people search for - in my industry anyway. |
