Hi

I ordered the mod yesterday morning (UK Time) from Tela Firma's website but have not received any download links to the files.

The order has been processed so I was wondering how long it'd take to get my mod?

Anyone else experienced a delay with purchase?

I've sent an email to the contact page on the site but heard nothing since.

I'm just worried about the $69.00 I've paid out... I need this mod urgently, so if anyone knows of his whereabouts and puts him in touch with me then that'd be great.

I ordered the mod lats friday night and didnt receive until monday (australia time so I am 12 hours ahead)

If you review the terms and consitions on the tela firm site they say it will take up to 24 business hours to get the mod.

I am very certain your money is safe.

This is an awesome must have mod! - just read the comments on the forums.

if you just ordered yesterday, while you may be very keen to receive it and get it installed, keep in mind that 24 business hours is 3 days - so you may just have to wait.

I installed the mod with V4.17 and it worked straight out of the box (I fired off some questions but they were all user error and I resolved them before I got a respone - which was very fast anyway)

First time I have had to wait 24 business hours for a download. Would be good if they put that on the invoice - save a lot of angst.

I feel obliged to stick up for the makers of this mod and all the other popular mods in these forums .

Their terms and conditons spell out that it could be 24 to 48 hours until you receive the mod. You would have ticked a box sayingt that you understoofd this at check out.

The reason for the delay is that the mods need to be manually encoded for your domain to prevent people copying or distributing the mods. If people were honest they wouldn't have to do this.

And, its only fair that they can sleep at night and have a weekend off.

If something goes wrong with your installation, in almost all cases you were get fantastic support - and in 90% of the cases it will be an issue you have created, not them.

I think many people have unfair expectations about service delivery from the x-cart third party vendors. And, if you are planning to be doing this for a while, consider building relationships with the people in this forum and the x-cart mods vendors, not posting unfair remarks that just create ill feeling.

be nice to people and it will come back to you 10 times over. be negative don't expect people to go out of their way to help you.

Please dont take this as a direct criticism - its a vent after I continue reading people making negative posts...

Personally I have no problem with having to wait and fully accept that I was being too impatient.

Being a developer of sorts myself I know how important it is to safeguard your work and stop other people copying it for free.

I have no problem with the delivery mechanism and would certainly purchase from Tela Firma again.

I put my hand up to being impatient. It sounds like such a good mod that I am really anxious to get it. I searched their web site (including the terms and conditions) for info on order processing or 'What happens now" but could find nothing.

If this helps someone else then I'll take the criticism. It was not meant to be negative merely constructive.
