dana's instructions specify:

3. The same file(product.tpl), comment this out with a {* *}:

when I go to edit my templates ... and I navigate to main/product.tpl ...

sk8conz, my file looks nothing like your product.tpl ... so I'm really confused.

Across the top of yours it says {* $Id: product.tpl,v 1.147.2.16 2007/06/28 05:47:00 max Exp $ *}

Across the top of mine it says {* $Id: product.tpl,v 1.46.2.2 2007/06/04 11:13:13 max Exp $ *}

and mine was just installed about 10 days ago.

Could this be a factor why yours has 3 times as many lines as mine? and why mine doesnt have the code I"m supposed to comment out?

Could someone look at my product.tpl file (posted earlier today) and let me know if I'm missing something

Sk8conz .. was your 4.1.9 installed more recently than 10 days ago? because you have a different version number at the top of your product.tpl

I'm not sure how i can modify my product.tpl when it doenst contain the code I'm supposed to append and comment out.

Can anyone help

Has anyone come up with a way to load another image for the thumbnails, to speed up the initial page loading?

i have 15 detailed images and this page loads so slow, and is a waste of bandwidth if they don't actual look at them.

Are you sure about this, it looks like Thickbox is commented out? Anyway, I used the code from post #47 in a fresh install of 4.1.8 and it works very well except for one thing...
If the "customer" scrolls down the page and then clicks on one of the thumbnails the Thickbox opens at the top of the page instead of centered over the "darkend" area. Any ideas on how to fix this? Otherwise it works perfect. BTW, a fresh install of 7Dana's code does the same thing.
