Is there a way to make the add to Wish List button option only appear on the product details pages??

Yep, comment it out wherever you don't want it

What is the difference between the products.tpl and the products_t.tpl?

Products.tpl is for a single column product layout (one product per row), products_t.tpl is for multiple columns

Okay I have just been looking at this topic again, I have looked at my products_t.tpl and products.tpl and I can see no reference to the wishlist being called only buy now

On the product.tpl I can see the wishlist being called but I don't want to cut it out of the product details page I only want to have it cut out and not shown on the products.tpl and the products_t.tpl,

Is there a way around this? Or am I looking for it in the wrong place?

That is because add to wishlist is IN buy_now.tpl Comment out this bunch of code:

{include file="buttons/add_to_wishlist.tpl" style="button" href="javascript:document.orderform_`$product.productid`_`$product.add_date`.mode.value='add2wl'; document.orderform_`$product.productid`_`$product.add_date`.submit()"}

I did as you suggested and commented out that bunch of code however the add to wishlist button and option is still appearing on my web site when I am logged in as a customer on the products pages and featured products pages which I DO NOT WANT
I will paste here my buy_ now.tpl so you can see if I have done anything wrong or if I should in fact comment out something else as well

Having said all of that I was about to paste a copy of my buy_now .tpl here to you and I noticed that further down in the tpl there was indeed another section that was coded exactly the same so I commented out that as well and HEY PRESTO IT WORKED!!!

So yet another small thing I have sorted out on my site in order to get things working how I think they should,

No doubt I will be posting yet another small obvious issue here in this forum but for me sometimes these are not so obvious and I have my reasons why I want things to be changed
