Default Post Code move above Country?

Hi

Trying to tody up the registration process for our UK site.

I have been messing with the /main/register_billing_address.tpl file but for some reason I can't get the Post Code to move above the Country.

Whenever I try to move it I end up with 2 x country fields !!!!

Anyone eny ideas on what chunk of code I need to change.

Also after removing all of the UK counties I now end up with "Other" as the default field entry. Can I change this too?

THanks

Hi,

I think someone had a similar problem to which I posted a reply.

http://forum.x-cart.com/viewtopic.php?t=17218&highlight=

I have not heard back, so am not sure how they got on. However, I am guessing that it is not working properly as there are more files involved. I imagine as you are editing what is essentially a form, you are only changing a fraction of it. You would need to edit the php as well that works the form.

My solution is a work around that allows you to use the User Profiles options under General Settings.

Let me know if this gets you moving in the right direction.

Actually, you don't need to mess with any PHP, you just have to be careful with the {if} statements. The country and state fields are tied to eachother, so you have to be careful not to break the {if}statements with them. Putting the post code between the state and country could break it if you aren't careful.
