Default Text Entry for home.php Gone from Languages Admin

Greetings Folks,

I have deleted by mistake the default text entry for home.php. in Languages. (Variable, Description, Value)

I don't know what it was called nor how to re-apply it.

Can someone suggest a solution please ?

{$lng.txt_welcome}

Description can be whatever you want, and the Value is what actually shows on the site.

Default Default Text label for home.php in Lanuage Editor

Thank you for your response.

Actually, I seek the appropriate string-format for the Language Editor;

Something like this format:

txt_address_mask_examples (but that meant for home.php)

Below isn't accepted by the editor.

{$lng.txt_welcome}

Any thoughts please ?

Covered in the manual pretty well, but easiest method is to open your site in Webmaster Mode. You can edit all language variables on the fly.

How does this method work exactly ?
All it appeared to do was open a template directory pop-up - but no text to edit as you suggest.

What should we look for please ?

Green text....double click on it and you can edit it. Again, covered very well in the manual

The Text editor Doesn't appear to present its strings in Green Type as you suggest.
Perhaps we are talking about two different things ?

I was seeking the appropriate string-format for the Language Editor as mentioned at the top of this thread; not editing text-headings displayed in Admin.

The Manual doesn't appear to have an entry for Green Text Editing in Webmaster Mode either - nor does it present a return when searching for Green Text. I must confess to being somewhat confused.
