Hello All,

I have x-cart gold version 4.4.3 installed and am currently using the
"Light & Lucid (3 column)" skin.

Is it possible to adjust the width of that skin AND also center it in the browser window?

It currently takes up 100% of the browser window, making lots of white space to the left and right of the static pages.
Can I make that skin to show centered in the browser window on all pages a fixed with, say, 1024 pixels wide?

Any is would be deeply appreciated!

Yes possible. Apply width and margin for the body in altskin.css

Thank you.... where is the altskin.css file located for that skin? I could not find that file in skin/common_files ?

For all templates you want to modify - first look in the directory of the skin you are using, if not there then look in common_files

Dear cflsystems, thank you for your help.

In the edit templates section, and in browse templates, I see this below,
a file called altskin.ini and NOT altskin.css in the following directory.

Is it altskin.ini that I have to edit?

Please help, I can NOT find the altskin.css file for the

What directory is it in???


Could it be that because it's the first and only skin that I used, that I have to edit main.css ?

the 3-columns template? Sorry there is no altskin.css for that one. You need to edit main.css in common_files/css OR you can create new altskin.css file in 3-columns/css - whichever is easier for you
