Hello,

1.

If I download the latest version of x cart 5 ays its 5.3.3.4, and at the change log it is talking about a later version:

eg 5.3.4.2

What should we do?

Should we wait and see what updates are suggested on the dashboard of admin?

Currently there is no mention of updates...

2.

If modules are asking for an update, eg I see a skin and abandoned cart reminder has updates available, is there a changelog for these, so can tell what is about to change?

Yes, you should wait - these versions are not public releases yet:

When installing new versions, after X-Cart downloads module archives, you can click "Changelog" links to see what are the changes. See the attached screenshot.

I now see a whole series of minor and major updates.

If doing both, should we do the minor ones first, then the major?

I might be wrong, but I think when you select to do the upgrade, it does the entire thing: minor and major.

XC upgrades are not incremental so they don't depend on what you have. You can skip 5.3.3.x upgrades and move directly to 5.3.4.x
