Hello. I am trying to learn X-Cart 5 with free version so that I can convert from X-Cart 4. And I tried the instruction at below page, but it does not work for some reason.

And I wonder if the free version do not have capability creating a new module. If that were the case, I wonder if paid upgrade license will let you run both versions at the same time.

Eventually I think I will convert to X-Cart 5, but there are tons of modification with current X-Cart 4 setup, and I need a lot time to prepare.

I would appreciate any inputs!

Free version definitely can create a module. Have you watched my tutorial on the subject?
