Isn't there major changes in the 3.5.X skins though? The checkout is certainly different amongst other things, has anyone doublechecked that a 3.4.9 skin is still 100% compatible with the values shown thoughtout the cart. I know the VAT calculations have certainly changed for example.

Just a littel feedback for Cameron.. I had problems with upgrading 3.4.8 to 3.4.9 with the same file (skin1.css) If you had any onther files fail and had to manually or repatch them skin1.css starts to fail, if you look at the code however you will find it has already been patched... Its the very first line, I just deleted it and put the old code back in and viola it worked !

Does anyone have a test cart setup so some of us can take a look at what the checkout looks like ??

Default Most recent "stable" version?

Can anyone please tell me which is the latest 'stable' version please?
I'm not a PHP/MySQL whizz and I just want to instal an X-Cart that I don't have to fiddle with, other than in the set-up!
I have one store (V. 3.3.1) that seems stable, but which version of 3.4 is 100%, or how 'dicey' is 3.5?
Any comments much appreciated.

I would just use 3.5.0 that way your as close to current as you can get. So far I have not run accross any problems with 3.5.0.
