Advanced Filters (BCSE) vs Power Filters (Cartrworks)
I need a drop down style filter. I am considering Advanced Filter at BCSEngineering or Power Filter at *********.com
I have a large number of categories and considering using one of these filters to make the customer experience easier. I am concerned with the following issues 1. How much time does it take to set up these filters? 2. Are there reliability issues with these filters? 3. Is there a flash / delay when going from the first filter to the second? Let me know what your experience has been with these filters or suggest another filter that supports the drop down style Thanks |

Re: Advanced Filters (BCSE) vs Power Filters (Cartrworks)
I have used both in the past. Out of the two I use power filters but I have since switched to ISAYfilters as I think they are a bit slicker.

Phil,
I looked at the Isay Filters for X-Cart can you show an example of how it is being used with drop down menus instead of check box style Thanks |

Re: Advanced Filters (BCSE) vs Power Filters (Cartrworks)
No sorry I have it set up with check boxes. ISAY filters allows you to install it as a demo on your site. You can play with it that way. Drop downs do look ok though as I did have a look at them. Any issues just drop Yan an email. He is a good guy to work with at ISAY. Ive used him for several projects.

Re: Advanced Filters (BCSE) vs Power Filters (Cartrworks)
I can't speak for the other module, but for ours, we do have a way to import the filter information. So that can be very handy and useful to getting the data populated easily. We have some really large sites using it as well. We can also customize it if needed to do what ever you're needing.
Drop us an email if you have some specific technical questions and we can get the questions to the right person here. Thanks, Carrie

Re: Advanced Filters (BCSE) vs Power Filters (Cartrworks)
We have installed and used all 3. Out of those mentioned Isay is probable the best for what you want.
We are just about to remove them all and go with Refine for ease of support.
