Default eyeglasses.com

Do you think it would be possible to use x-cart to clone a site like http://www.eyeglasses.com/ ?

Yup but that's a serious level of customisation you have to do. For example check the "let me select a lense" option which brings up the multistage lens wizard.

There's load of custom searches on that site and then futher options of sorting via other criteria.

Depends how much of a clone you are looking for

You wouldn't want to upgrade a site that had that level of customisation done to it though

It's certainly been done to their specification so I'd say it looks very bespoke, if it's not been written from scratch it's a pretty modified cart of some some then.

Default Updating

Other than I found it slightly slow, why do you want to change it. Looks good now.
