Hi Michael,

Yes, using the "URL title" attribute of each xMenus link - you can set the "a" tags title text for each individual link. We sent a screenshot to you in the ticket you posted to our support helpdesk.

Hi guys,

Anyone help on this?

I have a website I just built using xMEnu and I think the script is conflicting with the banner I have.

www.christmasworld.com.au
The banner stops after the page fully loads. It wont allow clicking or anything

I think it is a conflict with scripts, but Im not sure.

Any help on this?

I like the look of the results of this mod, especially the horizontally orientated menu, and I like the way the brands list is integrated.
My concern is how the resulting links fair in terms of SEO? Can someone please confirm that the created code conforms to SEO best practices and that the configured menus load sufficiently quickly even with banners inserted in the flyout?

i have this mod on a different site but on my main site i have a mega menu and honestly google hates it but users love it one click to find most stuff

google says create your site for the user but in this case they hate the fact that at the top of your site or even to the site you will have to many links and repeat links

so it comes down to whats best for your business i personally choose to make my customer happy before google

7thdesire, thank you for your user feedback, it is valuable in helping me make a choice.

I developed our current site with the focus on customer useability and Google rewarded us with a drop in organic search traffic!

I supose a compromise would be to display the mega menu on the home page and category pages but not on product pages. Instead we could just have a link back to the home page or category page and we would still have the breadcrumbs identifying the category/sub category/product location.

Hi Albert,

You can update the links for those 4 columns under the Busy Kitchen template settings page.
If you go to your x-cart admin area and cllick into the Busy Kitchen admin section, you will see a section called "Submenus & Quick links Setup " - on this page look for the section titled
Homepage Quick links 4 column menu

Add/Remove link details from this section as you wish
