Facebook Pixel Code for X-Cart 5

if I edit tpl files, the code will appear in EVERY page, not just one page. I just want the code to appear in a checkout page. Is there a way to this and get the code in the <head> of the checkout page?

You are to put the js code inside the "{if:getTarget()=#checkout#}...{endif:}" check.

for add Facebook pixels works for X-Cart Business 5.3.2.9 too?
the article states: This article applies to the specific versions of software: X-Cart 5.2.16 and earlier

Also could you direct me how to apply the SQL patch to X-Cart 5 database, because the information available looks like refer only to old versions where in Admin/Tools there was option to do that In my version of X-Cart 5 Business there is no Tool in Admin that offers applying SQL patches.

The article is for X-Cart 5.2.x only. But there is another article that explains how to migrate 5.2.x modules to 5.3.x:

In X-Cart 5 there are no SQL patches. Everything is done via editing Model classes and re-deploying the site (the re-deploy process will adjust the table structure).
