Well how about making them enter the

gift cert # and a random generated access code

an access code in graphic format that only humans can read.

I have installed this on 4.1.6 with great success, but am trying on 4.1.11 and I'm getting a 'page not found' error when I try to load the www.domainname.com/giftcert_recover.php page.

Anyone know why?

Hi Carrie, thank you for the free giftcert recovery mod. Will this mod work with the newer versions of x-cart like 4.4.3 or 4.4.4? I noticed it says on your site that it will work with vs 4.3, but do you think I can still use it in new version too without issues and errors? Thank you for your help.

Hi Shareen,

I looked and it looks like it should work. It is very separate from X-cart. There would likely be some slight changes to the install steps. If you have any issues or troubles installing it, just drop us an email to support and let us know and mention that I said we'd help change the instructions to 4.4.x
