This may help you decipher what code to use:

{$product.keywords} = search keywords
{$product.productcode} = SKU
{$product.product} = product name
{$product.fulldescr} = full description
{$product.descr} = short description

You may want to replace {$product.descr} with {$product.product}

In your first post, the code used {$product.descr} is for short description. Are you wanting to use the product name field? have you tried {$product.product}? I'm not 100% sure what code is correct for products name... you can try {$products[product].product}.

I understand it is for short description. When I put in {$product.product} the title shows up.

I do not want to show the product name where the short description is supposed to be.

I want a short description, But when I put in {$product.descr} it only shows the title, not the short description...
