Anyone have a fix for the "Disable Products with 0 inventory" bug yet? Pretty please? :)

I know that I've already posted this question on the previous page, but I cant seem to figure out why I'm unable to get the extra fields to work properly in 4.0. When I import a csv file all the info imports correctly, except the extra fields, which are left blank and I cant figure out why. Is any one else having this problem? I've never had a problem with imports on 3.4.14, so I don't think it's anything I'm doing wrong, but you never know. I also am curious if anyone has found a cure to the disable inventory error.

Despite the serious amount of work that would be involved in doing a diff patch, I would still like to see one for migration from 3.5.10 to 4.0. It would be easier for me to spend hour upon hour comparing differences through a diff patch than to spend day upon day comparing them without a guide.

It will probably take well over a month of testing and waiting for general bug fixes before we consider going live with 4.0.x, but the sooner we can get our custom changes integrated with 4.0 the better so that testing can really begin.

I found a bug on inventory tracking based on product options.

Let's say i'm selling t-shirts. below are the quantities for each:

red:small - 5
red:medium - 3

black:medium - 6
black:large - 2


but instead of tracking each option it comes out as this:

size:red - 5
size:black - 6

it does not track it individually.

in the website:
if i choose red:small or red:medium - both have the same quantities. so if one is out of stock, it doesn't not reflect that an item is not available for purchase.


please someone tell me if i'm posting this in the wrong category.

V-4 is the version that you get if you buy today. How can they put something out like this. I bet they'll get many request for refunds.
I like many of the new things that the version 4 has but I'll need a database updater at least. No way to move all my info over with out it...............

also, is there a reason why the number of items shown on the customer view is one less than the actual number on the inventory?

example:
on admin--
red shirt - qty=3

on customer--
red shirt - 2 available

Please edit this line from modules/Product_Options/check_options.tpl:

Line 124:
for(x = min_avail; x < avail; x++)

to:

for(x = min_avail; x <= avail; x++)

I have installed 4.0 in different ways and in all ways, I never experienced any errors or problem of any kind. The only problem that I have seen are all bug related problems after installation, or during module configuration.

The reason that I am saying this is that I am wondering if I had a different distribution file or what.

There is somethig that I don't know here. Please what is going on?
