I tried to watch it, but the soothing sounds of the South African horns put me right to sleep!

C'mon England! Are you just starting slow and going to go fast?

Americans could win the game! I do realize that English goalkeeper made a mistake, but he made a couple of fantastic saves as well.

Keep the faith, we started with a draw the last time we won it

Amusing how the NYP reported it

England is over-rated. They wont be able to win this world-cup. They have to sack the stupid manager!

The manager's been too strict on them, the passion is missing. Should have brought on Crouch earlier.

It's do or die on Weds, but playing as we did tonight, we don't deserve to win.

Some of the better quotes I've found

Quote:
When ITV HD said showing adverts when England score will never happen again, I thought they meant they'd fixed a Bloomin technical problem.

Quote:
Rob Green has trained today and in 3 hours he had 4,000 shots fired at him and did not concede a single goal. Tomorrow, he and Heskey will train with the rest of the squad.

and finally for now

Quote:
Would all the England supporters stop booing the team.

Because you're stopping us from listening to the Vuvuzales!

Yours Wayne Rooney

Well, the referee decided to annul their 3rd goal. I have no idea why he decided to do that as IMO it was a fair goal.
