Default Products list in two columns

Hi, my first time in the Forum, and Xcart too.
We recently buyed XCART PRO 4.0.4, and we want that the product list be showed in this way.

http://members.cox.net/madyeti/whatwewant.gif

In general setting I changed the multiple columns to 2 and disable the check of the only featured produts on Appearence settings, but nothing changed, the product list still showing in 1 column format.

Please, I need your advice, I'm getting

XCart 4.0.4

I just tried with my cart, and neither 2 or 3 column layouts make a difference in appearance either.

In the same section that you are telling it to display in multi-column format, there is a selection that asks if you want ONLY featured products in multi-column. Make sure this is NOT checked.

Does anyone know how to put a light border round the products? I like the following site ebuyer.com with a light border round each of the products but don't know how to achieve it using X-Cart. Any ideas, please?

Take a look at my site and see if this is what you are talking about:

http://www.birdshopper.com/xcart/home.php

If so, change products_t.tpl by changing the second table as below:

{* $Id: products_t.tpl,v 1.10.2.1 2004/08/23 05:27:36 max Exp $ *}
<TABLE border="0" width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><TR><TD class="TableThumbnailBorder">

<TABLE width="100%" border="1" bordercolor="#006622" cellpadding="5" cellspacing="0" style="border-collapse: collapse">

Hope that makes sense....if not let me know.
