Hi,

I like to add a Subscribe block and a message on head area between the logo and the cart. Attached scree print.

What file do i need edit and do i keep it after the next upgrade.

Also want to change the bag image, again, how do i keep it from changing on next upgrade.

Hi there.
You may use Webmaster mode to edit X-Cart templates. The tool can be found under the 'Look & Feel' > 'Webmaster mode' section in your store admin area.
Please see this video tutorial which shows how to use the feature

All changes made to X-Cart templates via Webmaster mode will remain intact during upgrades.
