Question w3c validation

Hi This is the first time i have posted here what i need to know is that i have ran a validation check on my site only to be told that it has 79 errors and 3 warnings.Which is the best way to fix these problems as i notice that on w3c validation page is the options section which has a clean up mark up with HTML tidy, does this clean the html code and if so would the files stored on the server be updated at the same time.
I am a novice at the moment but very eager to learn so any help would be aprecciated.

Swift master.

You need to fix them manually in the templates, you can not simply run a clean up command as the code is split up over all the templates. Don't just validate the home page either, validate EVERY page.

Yes, if it says there is bad code, fix it An example would be an open <br> tag or <img> tag (no closing /). One common X-Cart validation error is having form tags inside tables.
