Default write protections in editing template
HI!
I am brand new to this forum and I thought y'all may help me out. I own the site and license but I seem to have a configured "write protection" and I cannot edit my own templates. I have a cusom config and I jsut want to edit my bottom and top menu buttons to redirect my links. I know which tpl templates to edit but it won't let me save my changes.

any insight? I needs to be able to change it from safe mode and back to safe mode at will but I don't know how.
help please!

Hey there. You need to connect to your site via FTP and change the permissions of the templates you want to edit to at least 666 so that you can edit them You can also change permission via your hosts Control Panel, but FTP is usually easier.
