Ran for over an hour and is still running. I even reinstalled xcart and same problem.

Please check the var/log/ directory and let us know if you see any error messages there.

It is likely that you are either run out of memory (due to the PHP memory limit setting), or it stops due to the time limit setting.

I too have run into these issues but X-Cart is very good about logging out errors. As suggested check your logs and also verify that all file/folder permissions are correct.

It is worth noting that I had the same issue you reported on a machine that had some very aggressive virus scanning/malware programs on it. Obviously that was a corporate machine and once I moved away from that box I never had a problem again.

Thank you for your help. I received a email from xcart asking me to change the time out setting in Cpanel. Once I did that there was no further problems.
