Default Shopping Website Feeds for Australian $ Store...

Hi,

I was hoping someone would be able to help we with the best shopping website feeds to use for my store.

I am keen to be listed on all the big websites but I have heard that because my shop currency is Aussie Dollars that I am not allowed to use some of them?

Maybe there is a bundle that solves this issue? I want to be on the local ones too (GetPrice etc)

If anyone has any experience of which of the aggregators have delivered them the most traffic / sales that would be really helpful.

I just want to set it up (have it set up!) and forget about it knowing new productsare streamed out as I add them etc!

Thanks!

Sam.

Hi Sam. I'm not intimately familiar with non US based shopping engines but I'll try to help. You might be able to use some of the UK based sites as well. Many of the US based comparison shopping engines require merchants to have a US billing address and sell in USD. Google Base would be great but I don't think there is .au support for it yet.

Sam, I have feeds set up with

au.Shopping.com
myshopping.com.au

getprice
shop bot

theSe then feed onto webwombat, ferret, ninemsn, yahoo -- choose the 4 above and you get them all.

I use the firetank feedmanager - its not a pretty product but does the job well -- all you do is set it and then manage your catalogue as per normal and your shopping feeds will always be up to date

Sam, Firetank software's feed manager is a must and I have found Get Price to be excellent. I dropped the feed and watched my sales drop at the same time. Money well spent.

Hey Paul,

Which version of Feed Manager are you using to create feeds for those 4 sites?

Thanks

Thanks for all the tips!

Would you say that the Firetank Feed Manager product is better than the MagneticOne bundle product?

Thanks...
