Hi - I'm interested to find out whether or not X-Cart might be used for a flooring eCommerce store. Selling flooring is a little complicated ... Anyone have thoughts on this as a potential soluton?

It's possible. I'd probably be more apt to start with X-cart 4 than X-cart 5 for something that likely needs customizations. But like Steve said, it really depends on what you are going for and what features.
