FYI: X-Catr 5 - 5.1.6 Upgrade destroyed my front end. Having my hosting company restore my site as the reset links didn't fix my site.

So I tried it on my dev copy. It did upgrade, did not lock or fail.
But every time I do an upgrade this is showing on first page load in admin

It shows only once but there is obviously something wrong with the stock cart, upgrade or the fact that I turn off the RU module which is ON by default.

The extremely annoying part of any XC5 upgrade is that the upgrade still asks you to disable any non-QT modules, then you have to go and enable then after the upgrade. It is possible upgrades fail for some carts if they don't disable these modules which will be a fault of the upgrade itself.

Isn't it possible for the upgrade process itself to
1. disable these modules
2. do the upgrade
3. enable the modules
4. re-generate cache

There shouldn't be a need to do the cache process 2-3 times ....

Unlike to XC4, there's no "switching to edit mode" with redirect to another page. The functionality is already there.

Just open an order details page and hover you mouse over the element you want to edit (product price, quantity, shipping/billing address or payment/shipping method etc).

Yeah, this is a bug and it will be fixed in next version.

Hello Tony,

I got the upgrade to work, but I had to disable the new PayPal module. For some reason this module would scramble the front end of my website.

When I try to instal PayPal module on my 5.1.6 I get the error below. I installed MailChimp and other apps with no problem.

An error occurred in your store.
ERROR: "Includes\ErrorHandler::FATAL_ERROR" (code 2)
Call to a member function getSetting() on a non-object

Tony, what is the outcome? still waiting for the upgrade but reluctant to pay another $99 to have it checked out.
