In case anyone needs to connect to the market place and you are using WAMP and not XAMPP, you need to edit

C:\wamp\bin\apache\apache2.4.9\bin\php.ini

NOT

C:\wamp\bin\php\php5.5.12\php.ini

Do you edit php.ini to point it to the self-signed certificate? If so, please confirm and I will add it to our Knowledge Base.

I followed same exact instructions as the XAMPP except the I edit the correct php.ini for WAMP.
